Kill-a-Watt Energy Detectors
available to check out

Efficiency Maine, a program of Maine Public Utilities Commission, has donated energy detector kits to libraries throughout Maine to help consumers make more educated decisions about their energy use. The monitor plugs into electrical outlets, then plug an appliance into the monitor & obtain a reading on how many kilowatt hours the appliance is drawing. An instruction sheet & educational materials on ways to save energy are included.
