Adult Coloring Book

Are you interested in a relaxing activity.

Tuesdays - 12:30 to 2:00 pm.  Also available "Coloring Station"  where you can sit, relax, color - enjoy yourself anytime during library hours.

Adult coloring books with intricate designs and patterns (ex. paisleys, botanicals, mandalas, animals) offer a fun and unique way to express creativity, stimulate your brain, unwind and generate wellness. Coloring books and pencils will be available or participants can bring their own supplies. "Coloring brings you back to a simpler time, it's pleasurable, it's a chance to sit and be mindful...and at the end you get this beautiful result. You have a real sense of accomplishment." Alice Domar, PhD executive director of Domar Center for Mind/Bond Health, Boston from The New Joy of Coloring (Parade article July 12, 2015).
