  • Bonney Readers: Bonney Memorial Library's readng group. No meeting in July.  Next meeting Thursday, August 16, 7:00 pm discussing The Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz, a selection in Great American Read sponsored by PBS.
  • Free Support Group for Weight Loss & Healthy Living -  Come meet with others in your community who seek weekly support & accountability to step on a scale or measure your own progress in whatever method you choose. Plan for meetings: weigh in or reflect on your own progress; to discuss successes and barriers, to meeting goals, to encourage others; & share information about weight loss and /or improving general health. No charge. No dues. Mondays, 6:00 to 7:00 pm starting July 2.This is a community support group with no link to commercial interests.   • Libraries Rock - summer reading program for all ages - July 2 thru August 10. Sign up anytime during these dates & receive a "Reading Log." Have Fun & READ at your own pace, self-motivated, non-competitive. Enjoy reading to yourself, have someone read to you or listen to story on CD. Enjoy Reading! Activity sheets, crafts available at library too. Participants will receive certificate & prize. FMI stop by library.
  • Summer Sketchers: drawing program for ages 12-17. Tuesday, August 7, 3:30 - 5:00 pm. A chance to talk about tips and techniques, have fun with some drawing exercises and meet other local artists. Presented by Heather Newman, local artist & creator of mural at children's room entryway. FMI & to sign up contact library.
  • Knitters / Crocheters : interested in gathering with fellow knitters and crocheters - Enjoy time for knitting, crocheting - To create & be inspired. Thursdays 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
